We take a look at the range of betting opportunities the bookmakers are offering for the 2019 NFL Draft

For those looking to cash in on their “expert” knowledge, the bookmakers are offering a wide range of markets for the 2019 NFL Draft. From bets on who will be the first player taken, to the color of the suit Kyler Murray will be wearing, there are all sorts of options available for those looking to place a wager this year.

The Oklahoma quarterback is the universal favorite with every bookmaker to be the first name off the board, available at a a price of -350 from MyBookie.ag, with Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa the second favorite (+200) and Alabama defensive end Quinnen Williams (+500) third in the betting.

Fellow Alabama prospect Josh Jacobs is the heavy favorite to be the first running back taken at -750, with second place Miles Sanders available at +650. Ole Miss wide receiver D.K. Metcalf tops the betting among the wideouts at -155, with Hakeem Butler of Iowa State sitting behind him at +650.

Looking at a position the Pittsburgh Steelers could well be targeting in round one, LSU cornerback Greedy Williams (+100) is the favorite to the be first cornerback picked, with Byron Murphy (+220) of Washington the second favorite, Deandre Baker (+490) of Georgia third and Nasir Adderley (+850) of Delaware the fourth name in the betting.

The bookmakers appear fairly confident there will be trades in the early stages of the draft, with the market entitled “will a top 10 pick be traded on draft day” heavily in favor of yes at -800 vs. no at +400. And despite a relatively underwhelming quarterback class, MyBookie.ag still believes more than three will be taken in the first-round.
