The Pittsburgh Steelers have selected Devin Bush, ILB from Michigan.

Entering the 2019 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers had a number of draft needs which they needed to address. Inside linebacker, cornerback, wide receiver and even tight end were positions of need to help the black-and-gold get to the next level in 2019. There have been numerous thoughts and debates regarding what the team will do with the 20th overall draft pick, and the debate is finally over.

The Steelers have selected Devin Bush, inside linebacker from Michigan, in the first round of the draft.

For those who may not know much about Bush as a player, this is his overall recap on him, per his NFL Draft Profile:

Undersized three-down linebacker with the speed and cover talent to make an easy transition to WILL linebacker as a pro. There will be NFL defenses who pass on Bush due to his lack of size, but his ability to play fast and free as an outside linebacker should supersede those concerns. He will miss some tackles and get engulfed by blockers at other times, but his play strength and ability to run and cover are extremely valuable in today’s game and should not be diminished due to a tape measurement.

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ draft needs in the remaining rounds of the draft now would be considered: Cornerback, tight end, running back among other positions.
