If Kyle Rudolph is on the trading block, should the Steelers have interest?

Rumors are circulating that Kyle Rudolph could be on the trading block, should the Steelers show interest in the veteran TE?
There are concerns from some Pittsburgh Steelers fans that Kevin Colbert didn’t do enough to address the depth at the tight end position. Some of that stems from the injury history of Vance McDonald and some believe Xavier Grimble is better suited as a third string tight end, not a primary backup.
On the record, I fall into both of those categories. I love McDonald and what he showed in 2018. He has me wanting more, but in the back of my mind I’m thinking what if Grimble has to carry the work load for several games. Let’s just say I’m not as optimistic as I would like to be in that scenario.
The options that remain at that position are very limited…until…rumors started swirling Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph could be a possible trade option.
I understand how rumors tend to go but I had heard mention of this right after the Minnesota Vikings drafted Irv Smith Jr. Now it has resurfaced again after the Vikings and Rudolph have come to a stalemate on talks that involved an extension.
This from the NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport:
The #Vikings had held active extension talks with veteran TE Kyle Rudolph, but those broke off this morning, sources say. With Minnesota drafting TE Irv Smith and Rudolph due $7.5M, this development could lead to a trade elsewhere. There is interest around the NFL.

The question remains, do Kevin Colbert and the Pittsburgh Steelers have interest in trading for Kyle Rudolph? If so, what would they have to give up, and should the Steelers be willing to part with either draft picks or players to make the move? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!
