JuJu Smith-Schuster hosts free water balloon fight for local Pittsburghers

JuJu Smith-Schuster just wants to have fun, and decided to spread the love recently with local fans.

There are some Pittsburgh Steelers fans who don’t want to see players do anything but play football, workout and study film. Anything else is viewed as a worthless waste of time. For fans like this, you must really hate JuJu Smith-Schuster. Not only is he active on social media, but he loves to play video games and to have fun in the community.

The most recent example of Smith-Schuster’s local antics in the community would be when he hosted a free water balloon fight for the local community of Pittsburgh.

If you saw this, your reaction was probably something like this…

“A water balloon fight? Really?!”

Yet on Saturday Smith-Schuster did much more than just have a water balloon fight for the local kids. He played dodgeball, had a DJ to play music, gave away free food, tickets and more.

At this point, words can’t describe how happy I am Smith-Schuster is a member of the Steelers. Why? Because this is what I feel the Steelers are all about. This isn’t to suggest other players aren’t doing good things in the community, but Smith-Schuster does it with a flare, and a genuine nature, unmatched in today’s NFL.
