The Steelers will open their rookie minicamp with 60 players on Friday, a group that includes a mix of rookies, first-year players and several prospects invited for a tryout

With the start of their rookie minicamp, the Pittsburgh Steelers will get a chance to see their entire 2019 NFL Draft class working out together for the first time ever on Friday, a three day training session that will feature 60 players. Made up of drafted and undrafted rookies, first-year players and a significant number of names invited for a tryout, the group will take part in five practices together and finishing on Sunday.

And while their numbers have yet to be made official, we now also know the jersey numbers assigned to their most recent draft picks. But those interested in picking up the shirt of their favorite rookie might want to hold off for a bit. With the exception of Devin Bush wearing No.55, the rest of the names on this list are still subject to change.

In the case of Ulysees Gilbert III, his jersey number is also currently allocated to offensive lineman Dwayne Wallace, one of the 18 players invited for a tryout.

The full list of names taking part in Pittsburgh’s rookie minicamp, as per Steelers Director of communications Burt Lauten.

Those wondering what the Steelers hope to see in these limited training sessions that do not permit contact, scouting coordinator Brandon Hunt explained to team reporter Missi Matthews what the coaching staff would be looking for this weekend.
