Big Ben was unable to score touchdowns on four trips inside the red zone, but he was able to mount enough drives to get six field goals from Chris Boswell.
Le’Veon Bell set another team postseason record with 170 yards on 30 carries.
Antonio Brown had five catches for 101 yards in the first half, including a 52-yarder on a busted coverage to set up a field goal. Jesse James had four of his five catches for 60 yards in the first half, including a 26-yarder.
The biggest play of the game came when James Harrison was held on the two-point conversion pass, erasing the tying points. Bud Dupree caused an interception by Ryan Shazier when he hit Alex Smith’s throwing arm. Shazier has an interception in each of his past four games.
