Steelers Training Camp

Good news for us fans, as the Steelers will begin with their training camp that will last until the start of September, as they get ready for the upcoming NFL season. Before getting down to business, another piece of good news: Mike Tomlin has been given a 2-year contract extension.

After getting some amazing new players on their roster, like RB DeAngelo Williams, they are ready to start getting their team in shape for the upcoming season, and getting a better record than their 11-5 from last year. Their schedule for the training camp is:

August 14 Second preseason game at Jacksonville Jaguars
August 15 No practice.

The great part of training camp is that fans can go, free of charge, as long as there is still space left. Parking lots will open at 11 p.m., and camp will open at noon. The majority of the camp will take place at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa. So, if you are in the area, come and check out the Steelers practice.
