It has been a few weeks after the 2015 NFL Draft, and the Pittsburgh Steelers Rookies are making progress during their training and other camps. Each has been learning different techniques that will get them to the Pro Football level, whether it is from their coaches or other more experienced players.
The rookies and their progress is:
- L.T. Walton: Coach Mitchell teaching him about terminology and technique.
- Anthony Chickillo: Improving on the ability to drop into coverage.
- Gerod Holliman: Has amazing hands, instincts, and awareness, but is improving on his tackling.
- Senquez Golson: Continue improving his tackles and pass defense.
- Sammie Coates: Use the slot passes to improve his catching.
Each one of these rookies has weaknesses that are detrimental to their position on the field, but it seems that with the proper help, they will overcome and become great players. This will help the Steelers fill a few gaps that need good talent.
